Eight days lets you start your Moroccan journey slowly. You spend the first night in Tangier itself, exploring the kasbah, the Café Hafa and Cap Spartel where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. Then you head into the Rif for a night in Chefchaouen and on to Fes for two nights, with a full day to discover its medina, madrasas and craftsmen. The Middle Atlas leads to Merzouga for a camel trek and a night in the Erg Chebbi dunes. The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs takes you through the Todra Gorge to the Dades valley and on to Ait Ben Haddou, where you sleep by the old ksar, before crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech.

    Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

    Pick-up at the port or airport. Visit of the kasbah, Café Hafa and Cap Spartel. Night in Tangier.

    Day 2: Tangier to Chefchaouen

    Via Tetouan into the Rif to Chefchaouen. Afternoon in the blue medina. Night in Chefchaouen.

    Morning walk, then south to Fes. Evening walk. Night in Fes.

    Day 8: Over the Atlas to Marrakech

    Morning in the ksar, then the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Marrakech. Drop-off at your riad.
