Tangier is the gateway to Morocco for many travellers coming from Spain. This private 4-day tour takes you from there all the way to Marrakech, through the country's most iconic places. On day one you drive through the Rif to Chefchaouen and spend the afternoon and night in the blue medina. Day two goes south via Ouezzane to Fes, with time for an evening walk in the old city. Day three crosses the Middle Atlas and the Ziz valley to Merzouga for a camel ride at sunset and a night in a desert camp. On day four you drive west through the Todra Gorge, the Dades valley and Ouarzazate, and over the Tizi n'Tichka to Marrakech.

    Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

    Pick-up at the port, airport or your hotel in Tangier. Short visit of the kasbah, then via Tetouan to Chefchaouen. Afternoon in the blue medina. Night in Chefchaouen.

    Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes

    Morning walk, then south through the Rif foothills to Fes. Evening walk in the medina. Night in Fes.

    Day 3: Fes to Merzouga

    Ifrane, the Azrou cedar forest, Midelt and the Ziz valley to Merzouga. Camel ride at sunset and night in a desert camp.

    Day 4: Merzouga to Marrakech

    Sunrise, then Tinghir, the Todra Gorge, the Dades valley, Ouarzazate and the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Marrakech.
