Few places are as magical for New Year's Eve as the Sahara: a fire, drums, a sky full of stars and total silence beyond the camp. This 6-day private tour from Marrakech is built around that night. After a first evening in Marrakech, you cross the Atlas and follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades valley, then the Todra Gorge to Merzouga. You spend two nights there: one in a hotel at the foot of the dunes and one in a desert camp, where a special New Year's Eve dinner and Berber music await. The return goes through Khamlia, the Draa valley and Ouarzazate. Desert nights in winter are cold, so warm blankets and heated tents are provided.
