Designed for school classes, university groups and youth associations, this 5-day tour shows students the variety of Morocco on a sensible budget. Day one is a guided discovery of Marrakech, from the Koutoubia to Jemaa el-Fna. Then the group heads into the High Atlas to Imlil, walks to a Berber village and sleeps in a mountain guesthouse with a local family. Day three crosses the Tizi n'Tichka to Ait Ben Haddou, a living history lesson in earthen architecture. Day four reaches the desert near Zagora for a camel ride and a night under the stars, before returning to Marrakech. Our minibuses seat up to 19 students, and the price per person drops as the group grows.

    Day 1: Guided day in Marrakech

    Meet at your hotel. Guided visit of the Koutoubia, Bahia Palace and the souks, and the evening on Jemaa el-Fna. Night in Marrakech.

    Day 2: Into the Atlas to Imlil

    Drive to Imlil at the foot of Toubkal. Walk with a mountain guide through walnut groves to a Berber village. Night in a mountain guesthouse.

    Day 3: Over the Atlas to Ait Ben Haddou

    Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Ait Ben Haddou. Visit of the ksar and a talk about earthen architecture. Night at Ait Ben Haddou.

    Day 4: Draa valley to the Zagora desert

    Through Ouarzazate and the Draa valley to Zagora. Camel ride at sunset and night in a desert camp with music.

  5. 5

    Day 5: Back to Marrakech

    Sunrise in the desert, then the drive back over the Atlas to Marrakech.
