After a day in Marrakech, you head into the High Atlas and sleep in a mountain guesthouse near Imlil, with a walk through Berber villages. On day three you cross the Tizi n'Tichka, see Ait Ben Haddou and reach the Dades valley. Then come two nights in Merzouga: one in a hotel at the foot of the dunes and one in a desert camp after a full day around the Erg Chebbi. You finish with the Middle Atlas and two nights in Fes, with a guided day in the world's largest car-free medina.
