Instead of a train or a flight, cross Morocco by road and see the Sahara on the way. This private three-day tour leaves Marrakech over the High Atlas, visits the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and spends the first night in the Dades valley. On the second day you walk in the Todra Gorge, then reach Merzouga in time for a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes and a night in a desert camp. On the third day, after sunrise, you drive north through the Ziz valley, Midelt and the Middle Atlas, past the cedar forests and Ifrane, arriving in Fes in the evening. Over the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Ait Ben Haddou, then Ouarzazate, Skoura and the Valley of Roses to the Dades valley. Night in the Dades valley.

Day 2: Todra Gorge to Merzouga
Walk in the Todra Gorge, then Tinghir, Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. Camel ride into the dunes at sunset and night in a desert camp.

Day 3: Merzouga to Fes
Sunrise over Erg Chebbi, then north through the Ziz valley, Midelt, the cedar forests of Azrou and Ifrane to Fes. Drop-off at your riad.
