Only an hour from Marrakech, the Ourika valley feels like another world: a green river valley in the High Atlas, lined with walnut trees, terraced fields and red-earth Berber villages. On this private day trip you stop at a women's argan oil cooperative, visit a traditional Berber house for mint tea and continue to Setti Fatma at the end of the road. From there a local guide leads you up a rocky path to the first of the seven waterfalls. Lunch is at a riverside restaurant, with your feet almost in the water.     Day 1: Ourika valley and Setti Fatma

    Pick-up at 9 am, drive into the Atlas with stops at an argan cooperative and a Berber house. Walk to the Setti Fatma waterfalls with a local guide, lunch by the river and return to Marrakech around 5 pm.

Is the waterfall walk difficult?

The path to the first waterfall takes about 30 to 45 minutes and is rocky in places. Wear good shoes. You can also stay by the river.
