Three days from Errachidia give you the Sahara at an easy pace, with short drives and plenty of time in the dunes. On day one you follow the Ziz valley and its palm groves to Merzouga and spend the night in a hotel facing the dunes. Day two is the desert day: a 4x4 tour around the Erg Chebbi to Khamlia and its Gnawa musicians, a nomad family, the black desert and the old mines, then a camel trek at sunset to a desert camp. On day three, after sunrise, you drive back to Errachidia by a different road through Rissani and the ksour of the Tafilalet, or via the Todra Gorge if your flight is later.
