Fly into Errachidia and cross the whole south of Morocco to Marrakech in three days. On day one, after a short drive down the Ziz valley, you reach Merzouga in time for a camel ride at sunset and a night in a desert camp in the Erg Chebbi. Day two follows the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs west: the oasis town of Tinghir, a walk in the narrow Todra Gorge, and a night in the Dades valley among its red rock formations. On the last day you pass the Valley of Roses, Skoura and Ouarzazate, visit the UNESCO ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass to arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

    Day 1: Errachidia to Merzouga

    Pick-up at Errachidia airport or hotel. Ziz valley, Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. Camel ride at sunset and night in a desert camp.

    Day 2: Todra Gorge and the Dades valley

    Sunrise over the dunes, then Tinghir and a walk in the Todra Gorge. Continue to the Dades valley. Night in the Dades valley.

    Day 3: Dades to Marrakech
