This one-way tour is perfect if you fly into Errachidia and want to continue your trip in Fes. On day one your driver takes you from Errachidia airport down the Ziz valley to Merzouga, where you sleep in a hotel facing the Erg Chebbi. Day two is spent in the desert: a 4x4 tour to Khamlia and its Gnawa musicians, a nomad family and the black desert, and in the late afternoon a camel trek to a desert camp for the night. On day three, after the sunrise, you drive north through the Ziz gorges, Midelt and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where Barbary macaques live, passing Ifrane before arriving at your riad in Fes.
