After a first night in Casablanca, you spend a night in Meknes, the quiet imperial city of Moulay Ismail, then two nights in Fes. Crossing the Middle Atlas, you reach Merzouga for two nights in the Sahara, one of them in a Berber camp. On the way back west you sleep in the Dades valley and in Ouarzazate, where you can visit the film studios and the Taourirt kasbah, before crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech for two nights.
