Nine days is enough to see Morocco properly without feeling rushed. This private round trip starts with a night in Rabat, the elegant capital, before heading into the Rif to the blue town of Chefchaouen. Then comes Fes with a guided walk in its medieval medina. You cross the Middle Atlas to Merzouga and spend two nights there, one in a hotel facing the dunes and one in a desert camp after a day exploring by 4x4. The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs takes you through the Todra Gorge to the Dades valley and on to Ait Ben Haddou, where you sleep inside the old village. A day and a night in Marrakech come before you return to Casablanca.

    Airport pick-up, the Hassan II Mosque, then up the coast to Rabat: the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Hassan Tower. Night in Rabat.

    Into the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen. Afternoon in the blue medina and sunset at the Spanish Mosque. Night in Chefchaouen.
