Ouarzazate is a natural starting point for the Sahara, with its own airport and many travellers arriving from Marrakech.     Pick-up in Ouarzazate. Skoura, Kelaat M'Gouna and the Valley of Roses to the Dades valley and its gorge. Night in the Dades valley.

    Walk in the Todra Gorge, then Tinghir, Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. Camel trek at sunset and night in a desert camp.
