This 10-day grand tour is our most complete loop from Casablanca. You start with the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche, then travel north via Rabat to Chefchaouen, the blue city of the Rif. Through Volubilis you reach Fes for two nights and a guided day in its medieval medina. The Middle Atlas leads you to Merzouga, where a camel takes you into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a night in a desert camp. Westward, you follow the Todra and Dades gorges and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ait Ben Haddou, then cross the High Atlas to Marrakech for two nights before returning to Casablanca. Every highlight, at a comfortable pace.

    Day 1: Casablanca

    Welcome in Casablanca, guided visit of the Hassan II Mosque, the Habous quarter and a walk on the Corniche at sunset. Night in Casablanca.

    Day 2: Rabat and Chefchaouen

    Morning stop in Rabat at the Kasbah of the Udayas, then drive into the Rif to Chefchaouen. Sunset at the Spanish Mosque. Night in Chefchaouen.

    Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis

    Morning walk in the blue medina, then the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Moulay Idriss on the way to Fes. Night in Fes.

    Licensed guide in Fes el-Bali: Bou Inania madrasa, Chouara tanneries, Nejjarine fountain and souks. Night in Fes.

    Tizi n'Tichka pass and Berber villages, arrival in Marrakech. Evening on Jemaa el-Fna. Night in Marrakech.

    Koutoubia, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the souks and the Majorelle Garden with a licensed guide. Night in Marrakech.
